Episode 2 Preview: Don't Cry Over Spilled Oil

Well, that is certain revealing. Tressa and Queen Ligea are thankfully back. Great to see that they're sticking to canon and going back to their established characters. So Tressa and Aisha are cousins, huh? The underwater world certainly did get much more colourful than it was in season three. I must admit that it is an improvement from when Valtor was there when the sea was dark and drab. I am surprised that they were brave enough to give a male character pink hair. It's an interesting choice, considering the colour palette for the underwater world. If I'm not mistaken, Nereus and Tritannus may have the same character model with just colour palettes swapped.

Season Five Ad: Beyond Believix

Besides the trailer being a little cheesy with the mythical rhyming voice, I'm still holding judgement for the season. So the villain "Tritannus" (I'm still wondering if that is his final name and whether that's how it's spelt) is apparently Aisha's cousin, but wait a minute...Aisha the fairy has a mermaid cousin (er, triton cousin--thanks Anonymous)?

Season 4 Nickelodeon Ad

If only "Coming soon" was replaced with an actual date. I suppose that it'll either be aired this spring (next month?) or during the summer in preparation for a simultaneous global debut of season five.

Revenge of the Trix

Baaaaaack! Oh boy did Blogger change while I was gone! Missed you guys ;)

So, I'm sure you've heard that the next Nick special is set to be released soon (Monday August 1st). It's called Revenge of the Trix. Nick still has to cover seasons 2, with two more specials to come (RoT included). What plot points do you think they'll hit? What do you want them to leave out? What would absolutely kill you if they didn't fit it in?

So no more "the sun and the moon" for Stella, Nick's calling her "Fairy of the Shining Sun". And speaking of Stella, did I mention that I love her staff?

New Winx Trailer!

Well, another new trailer... I can't say I like it as much as the old one. However, it does give us a couple new shots to be excited about, a nice snippet of Flora's voice, and, well, general SQUEEEE!!!! Every new trailer just gets me more excited.

As we see more of the animation changes, are you liking them more? Less?

About the caption at 0:58: does that mean that the series has decided to drop the traditional animation style and go for the same animation as in the movies? Or are they just saying "CGI" (computer-generated image) to get us hyped? A lot of the backgrounds in season four were CGI, but the not characters.

Also, are they officially going to use the English dub of the first movie or redub it?

UPDATE: After further searching, I've found that no one except Believe in Winx has posted this video which begs many questions.
