2012 Mirtillo Clothing Line

Mirtillo is the clothing company that creates the Winx Club clothing line in Italy. Their 2012 catalogue features clothing with images for new Winx outfits, namely the the "Fairy Concert" and "Urban Safari" sets as well as the usual Sophix and Believix sets. (Don't worry. I'll spare you the awkwardness of looking at child models wearing the sample clothing.)

The clothes below feature images of the new "Fairy Concert" outfits.?

For a closer look at the "Fairy Concert" images, go here.

Those of you with a keen eye will notice that the "Urban Safari"outfits below were first seen Nickelodeon's fourth one-hour special Winx Club: The Shadow Phoenix when Aisha, Stella and Bloom went to rescue the pixies.

(Above) Also, I'm guessing that Flora is has own outfit in this set as well if you look at the shirt in the middle. I guess they put her in the believix clothes line as well because her general colour pallette features pink.

Winx Party app is a quick way to make a buck or six

The Winx Party app is a free dress-up game from Rainbow, but developed by Malezeta. According to the note for parents, the app is aimed for children between the ages of 3 and 7. You can dress all six of the Winx Club girls and you can four default outfits (or twelve pieces) where you can switch the tops, bottoms and footwear.

After you create your outfit using pieces of attire from the show, you choose a background where you want your party to happen. Most of the backgrounds are actually backgrounds from season four, so can you choose between Love & Pet, the Winx girls loft and the Frutti Music Bar among other things.

After you decide on the location, obviously, you have to invite guests! You can choose to invite all the Winx girls (not including Roxy), Sky as well as a few nameless miscellaneous background characters. It seems that the app is preparing to have an interactive Facebook function, but it has not been developed yet. Apparently, if you become a fan of the app on the Winx Club Facebook page, youre supposed to get codes and other freebies, but that did not happen to me. All I got was the previews for the HalloWinx dolls (also known as Winx Dark Style). After youve chosen the guess, you can resize and arrange all the characters into a scene and then take a picture that is saved to your gallery.

In terms of outfits, it has all of the outfits from season four, except for the date night outfits. Each outfit pack costs 0.99$. The accessories pack with includes jewellery and bags costs 1.99$ and the individual believix outfits cost 0.99$ (meaning you would have the believix outfit six times to get all the transformations). Luckily, there is a special pack which includes all of the outfits and accessories that costs 5.99$ so that users dont have to spend 13$. I am not sure how I feel about needing to spend six bucks to get my full enjoyment out of this, but it is better than spending double that. At the very least, they should have given us all the outfits for the default outfits because Aisha and Tecnas are not there.

This app is a quick and easy way to pass the time as well as make your own personal Winx Club wallpapers. Now , if only they could fix their comic app because it keeps blacking out and the coding is screwed up.

Is Musa a tomboy or a girly-girl now?

Musa, is that you?
Musa has without doubt gone through the most drama of all the couples in the series. (Let's admit it: Riven is no romantic.) She has also gone through the most physical change in the series. Remember when she use to have short pigtails?

Back in season one, she was known as a tomboy. She barely wore skirts. Even in the welcoming ball, she would an outfit that had pants. She was basically designed to look a little strret-smart with her overly large jeans and sneakers. In the episode "The Show Must Go On!" she wore jeans, a baggy shirt and a beanie hat giving off a construction worker look. Plus, it was revealed in this episode that she came from a difficult background where money was always a bigger concern than music. Despite that, she persevered, she pursued her passion for music and she never deviated from that.

Once season three started, she immediately got longer hair, but kept the pigtails. Character development certainly went through a whirlwind as season progressed. She briefly let her hair down for the ball on Eraklyon and on Solaria. That seemed reasonable to me that she would attempt to look pretty in front of high society.

Then season four came along and Musa arrived on Earth where she let her hair down and started wearing heels and a skirt for her normal outfit. Musa became girlier by asking questions about her hair and she became another point of drama for the series again when Musa gains the opportunity to become famous. She still loves music but she doesn't lackadaisically plays her flute anymore. She jumps on stage and sings with Andy's band. She plays the guitar and helps the girls put up a band.

Is Musa still Musa despite all this? Or have her physical changes made her become something else entirely? Do you like these changes?

Meeting Stella

"Meeting Stella" is one of ten new Russian Winx Club games for the PC. Part of the game is being able to dress up the Winx girls, which, thanks to Winx Club Episodios, gives me some new PNGs for the episode page! It also gives us a new, interesting outfit of Roxy's Enchantix...

Old Uniform vs New Uniform

New: [pretend Sky and Nabu are not there : ) ]
- Lost of cape
- Snazzy studier-looking armour
- No more colour-coded badges on their chest
- They look like elite soldiers

Old:
- Awesome cape
- Spandex-like material
- Badges
- They looked like superheroes

Which uniform do you prefer?

Does anyone think that the new uniforms will appear in season five?

Thanks to Arlon for the scan!
Isn't it cute? I added it to the Pet Outfits post on the Outfits Page!
